I'm Stephanie BwaBwa
Urban Fantasy Author and Digital Nomad
I help writers find the story they need to tell from within themselves, then write it, one word at a time.
In a land not far away, and in a time not long ago, I found my true love:
fantasy and poetry.
I began writing stories and poems as far back as I can remember. They were my escape from the woes of life, ever since I was a child. I have always loved crafting a world and ideas from my imagination, and bringing it to life on paper.
I discovered the vulnerable world of poetry and soon fell madly in love with fantasy. I went down the long and windy path of A Series of Unfortunate Events, and I have never looked back, or ever been the same again.
I remember running away from the possibility of being a novelist because I didn't think I was qualified, and believing I could finish my WIP's was laughable.
Then, I finished my prose and poetry collection... and went on to complete my debut fantasy novel in less than 90 days.
Since then, I've been on a mission to help fellow writers do the same. Whether your WIP is complete, or just downright nonexistent, I've got you. My passion is helping authors, whether published or not, impact the world through their stories, one word at a time.
I've been writing for 14 years and have written these books. I also run a community for writers. Needless to say, writing has grown to become my thing, like nutella on warm cinnamon waffles.
I've learned, when it comes to us writers, we don't need to be ready, we just need to be willing to go after it with all we've got. So how about it storyteller? I wrote my stories, and it's only the beginning.
Are you ready to write yours?
Learn About My Books
High school junior Sarabi Casper struggles to keep her faith after a series of personal attacks and losses.
As she dances the line of rebellion with the enticing Rex, while also fighting a new physical attraction to her best friend, Uriah, she finds herself declaring to the heavens her faithlessness.
She has no idea this announcement will earn her a visit from Jes – the mysterious, fiery-eyed man who knows more about her than any stranger should – much less his companion, Malkiel, a talking, winged stallion. And who is the silver-eyed girl with the electric whip and eerie dove who seems to shadow her every step? Sarabi is determined to find out.
When the effects of trauma and her inner conflict finally cause Sarabi to break, who will help her pick up the fragments and will there be enough of them to put her back together again?
Her is the debut poetry and prose collection of Stephanie BwaBwa. The collection follows the Wanderer who goes through trial while choosing to maintain her faith in the unseen God.
Highlighting experiences of anxiety, depression, rejection, faith, and surrender, Her is a journey through many valleys that ultimately lead to triumphs which rise to mountainous height.
The book is divided into 3 parts. Each new poem highlights a different experience yet when they're altogether linked, they form a beautiful story with a powerful message of true faith.
Her takes readers through a raw journey of the reality most people of faith endure, but don't talk about. The collection will draw readers into some bitter moments yet display much sweetness, because in every experience, there is always a bit of sweetness to find and cherish.
